A partnership with growth potential the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union encompasses the Eastern, Western and Central Bay of Plenty.

The Match Day Sponsorship provided us with the opportunity to connect with locals at a grass root level by taking over the Whānau Zone and activating the area to create engagement.

It also provided us with the opportunity to host at an executive level furthering Dr Leon Fourie's ties with the local business community.

This beautiful taonga from Charles & Janine Williams was negotiated as part of the partnership deal with Tauranga City Council's Paradox Street Art Festival.

AIMS Games saw over 11,000 intermediate school students visit Tauranga.

One of the creative leveraging ideas I implemented was the highly successful team photos. These free photos now grace fridges NZ wide proudly sporting the Toi Ohomai logo.

With the merger of the two institutes it was important to build excitement and engage our students in the new brand.

The brand launch held in Tauranga drew large crowds of students whilst they enjoyed pop up stalls and live music by internationally renowned musician Hollie Smith.

As associate sponsor of Paradox 'Live & Local' activation's were run around the city.

Paradox drew record crowds and gave Toi Ohomai the opportunity to have branding in the city in areas that are usually inaccessible. This was particularly important as the new brand was still being embedded into the market.

A partnership between Ladies Long Lunch, Good Neighbour and Toi Ohomai saw over $100,000 being raised for Te Aranui Youth Trust and Good Neighbour.

The event was a institute wide effort which involved multiple teams and over 220 students.

A local favourite, the annual FMX Showcase was held in the bar & restaurant arena of the shopping centre.

The event drew around 2,000 additional shoppers to the centre increasing foot traffic and revenue.

A partnership between The Palms Shopping Centre, Shirley RSA and Palm Grove Retirement Village marking the 100 year anniversary of Gallipoli.

I built an in centre garden in which I planted the giant poppies (pictured) that were made by the lovely residents at the retirement home as well as the lapel pins.

RSA Shirley made a 400% increase on sales by selling the poppies direct from the garden.

The centre was a sales agent for Ticketek so I negotiated for an in centre performance promoting the sale of tickets.

A partnership with Canterbury Rugby and The Crusaders.

The partnership helped local families take their kids along to the rugby games at a discounted price.

The Palms speed dating-style employment drive.The "speed employing" event was held to introduce mall employers to local job seekers.

Events were focused on increasing foot traffic and creating an amazing customer experience.

Celebrating the arrival of the first China Southern flight into Christchurch Airport.

228 Chinese visitors arrived to a water arch on the runway (see video) and maori cultural performance through the arrivals hall.

Celebrating the new flight link between Christchurch Airport and Paraparaumu.

The celebration took place in the departures lounge (a logistical nightmare for security) and featured a range of activities and food and beverage for departing passengers to enjoy.

A full sensory experience using sight, sound and smell to create a unique arrival into New Zealand.

A range of high-level corporate events including the re-opening of Christchurch International Airport.

Many of these events were turned around at short notice and included VIP invitees such as the Prime Minister and the All Blacks which required a high level of security and management.
